In orders to impart training to the in service engineers of various
cadres in Water Resources and Public Works Departments, annual
training programme is framed in each year considering the
suggestions of the Regional Chief Engineers. It is approved by the Government
of Maharashtra after finalization in the coordination
committee meeting at WALMI Aurangabad.

As a part of training programme, few workshops of short period, of
2 - 3 days duration are arranged with the help of Field Officers on

Criteria for Selection of Trainees: |
 |
Age should below 55 Years |
 |
Course selected should not be repeated in past
5 years. |
 |
Priority should be given to those engineers
whose total training period is less than 3 % of his service
period. |
 |
For selection to computer training candidate
must have completed CDac / CEDT or equivalent course. |
